Do you put a lot of effort into getting ready for picture day? Picture Day is a special occasion that often stirs a mix of excitement and nerves among students and teachers alike. I interviewed two students and their teachers to uncover their unique preparations for the big day. From choosing the perfect outfit to perfecting their smiles, each has their approach to ensuring they look their best. Join us as we dive into their routines and discover what makes picture day a memorable experience for them.

Students GRWM
I interviewed two students to find out how they prepare for picture day, and their responses highlight the different levels of effort they invest in the occasion. Chloe Kirsh, a sophomore, shared, “I did my hair the night before, and this morning, I put on school clothes and some makeup, and that’s it.” On the other hand, Ekko Henderson, a junior, took a more laid-back approach, saying, “I just woke up and threw on some school clothes, and out the door I went.” These varying approaches illustrate the range of effort students put into looking their best for those all-important school photos.
Teachers GRWM
In my interview with Jeff Chambers, a history teacher, I asked him how he prepared for picture day. He chuckled as he recounted, “I remembered its picture the day after I got to school, and on the way to take my picture, I made sure I looked good. When I sat down, I acted extra handsome.” His response revealed a humorous, last-minute dash to ensure he was camera-ready, showcasing his lighthearted approach to those inevitable moments of spontaneous preparation.
